I do have one request gluten free options throughout the dining would be nice just some bread would be an improvement. Ethel M is one of my all time favorites and Lapperts has great coffee and sweet snacks. I do hope the breakfast buffet returns to Market Street I miss it. The dining between Market Street and the Garden Court Buffet meet our needs. My husband has won 2 hand pay pots and I typically hold my own. Thanks to phenomenal staff, decent rewards and you gotta visit the club desk and ****** host. Since then I have stayed repeatedly it's like my new home away from home. When I first stayed at the California it was because everything was booked that was in 2018 I believe. I used to stay at the 4Qeens have also visited the Plaza nothing wrong with those hotels.
Food Court there expensive but awesome eats w plenty of seating. Tables had high $25 minimums, but then higher payouts and lively dealers and pit crews which was nice to see. Felt safe with plenty of security around. Complimentary parking which was part of the ridiculous resort fees that are charged. ****** air conditioning was very nice and just about smoke free. Pool area was clean, pool water was acceptable as soup water from bathers but packed and not enough out door seating. Eventually used an app for check in and check out. Watched one receptionist take well over 20 minutes to check in a couple. Line at front desk check in was totally unreasonable - not enough receptionists or those working were just taking too much time. Starbucks in lobby which was overpriced with long lines for a cup of coffee and almost $6 for just a venti cup of coffee. Remodeled rooms which were clean and our was no smoking which was perfect. 0.15km from Peppermill's Fireside Lounge Beautiful location plenty distance away from crowded strip.
